I learn a lot of cool tools i can use in photoshop in this tutorial, so if you like my design you should check this video out. I tried to make it colorful i guess, i like it being all bright and to just catch the viewers eyes. And that's what i went for in this logo, hope you like it.

I used the pen tool to create this, i first had to outline some people to put into the background like they were dancing. And that's pretty much what i didn't with this picture.

3rd Poster

I didn't know what do for the third poster so i was just messing around with the paint brush. I had it really big so it start to makes this circles right after another. So i got the idea of doing it all over the page then i liquify it and then i wrote in circles to make the fonts look cool. The last thing i did was just pick different fonts. This is how i got my 3rd poster.

2nd Poster

This took a while to think about because i had to work with all kind of different fonts. But the way i got the idea was from a youtube video i watch about typography, that's what got me moving. And this is what i ended with.

Helvetica documentary

In this Documentary was really great it shows the obvious to everyone, it talks about stuff that exist right under our noses. They talk about the different fonts in front of us and around us that we don't even notice in everyday tasks. Everyone can relate to this because everywhere you go can see some kind of font or writing. In the movie they showed many examples of fonts typed. They used signs and a subway with writing, they also showed streets with writing. I will no longer just past a sign and not looking at the typography without thinking what thoughts the person thought of when they were designing it. And i will take those as example and use them as examples for me. That can help me thing of other ways how to make my own design of words and phrases.

This took me a long time to do i was able to do it by first getting a picture of me and draw with a brush the details around my face. I also had to find a background on the web to use as my background. Once i had everything i start draw the hardest part of the job was paint the eyes and doing them. But for the most part i had to wait and do everything right to make it look good. Well hope this is good? I'll let you know that.

Layer Mask

I used the layer mask to perform this job. At first it was pretty hard because i had spiked hair up so it was hard to work around it so in the end i had to just get rid of it. I don't know if you can notice but i made my hair look kind of like a circle. In the end since i had the reflection of the green background i had to adjust the colors so then it would not be notice as well.

I used the clone stamp tool to do this, it didn't come out the best but i tried to get the tree out of the picture to make it look better.

Tutorial Video

I personality think the first video was the best it helped me review photoshop because i took computer apps and we had to learn how to use photoshop. But since i got out of school it was the best review to help me pick up where i left off before school got out. I really didn't learn anything new i already knew where everything was. The third one would have to be the second best Tutorial Video. But the only thing i didn't like about it was that it was to long. And the other two covered a lot in a short period of time. And this is what i think about the Tutorials.

Landscape

Wild Life

Balance: In the picture you can see the reflection of the the trees in the river which gives the trees a balance.   And the color's are pretty balanced the trees are green so is the grass but the river is blue and same with the sky.

Proportion: You can see that the trees are big because right behind them the mountains are located. Which makes the mountains look small and makes the trees look big because how the shot was taken. The river seems to look really wide and long because it doesn't show the ending of the river or the beginning.

Rhythm: The flowing of this picture is what makes the rhythm in this picture.

Emphasis: I think what calls my attention is the reflection of the trees and mountains in the river. I think that's what they wanted to do when they took the picture.

Unity: There are so many things that make this image look great the Balance, Proportion, Rhythm, and the Emphasis. This picture has everything and that's what makes it stand out.

Photoshop

The process to change the picture was really easy. I went to photoshop and clicked on the levels for the colors of the pictures. And had to miss around with it before coming to a color i would like the flower to be. After this i had to change the size of the picture in order to make it look better. I had to go to save it and then adjust the size to what i wanted it to be and that's how i came to my conclusion.

The reason why i changed the levels of the color was to give it a darker look. In the original it thought it was to bright. And the flower was to bright (light pink) so i thought of giving it more color. And i didn't like the center of the flower the green gave it a bad look personality to me, so i made it look black. So that's how i came to make my picture.
